Description
We are seeking a dedicated Geriatric Physician for a 120-day assignment in Missouri, commencing Sep 7, 2026. This full-time role operates Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, focusing on preventative geriatric primary care to help keep elderly patients out of the hospital. The ideal candidate will be adept at patient care, accurate charting, and highly organized.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide compassionate and thorough care for geriatric patients.
- Ensure accurate medical coding and charting.
- Utilize technology effectively and maintain organized patient records.
- Apply expertise in geriatrics and preventative medicine.
- Focus on preventative primary care to minimize hospital admissions and external referrals for elderly patients.
- Manage a diverse patient panel, including high-risk (15-20%), emerging risk (10-20%), and low-risk (70-80%) cases.
Additional Information - Board Certifications required in Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR is preferred.
