Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical

Required Skills:
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Medical/Surgical or Acute Med Unit setting
- Current and valid RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA
- Proficiency in patient assessment, clinical documentation, and evidence-based practices
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to respond swiftly and effectively in emergency situations
- Excellent organizational and critical-thinking skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- NIHSS certification
- Experience working in fast-paced hospital environments
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Bilingual abilities to assist diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree preferred
- At least 2 years of recent, relevant nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex clinical cases and prioritize care effectively
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work scheduled hours from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including varied shifts
- Ability to commit to a 13-week assignment
- Must adhere to all hospital policies, including safety and infection control protocols
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification updates
