We are seeking skilled LPNs to provide essential care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) within Pennsylvania's Intensive Care Facility (ICF). What You’ll Do:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to individuals with IDD in a dedicated ICF setting.
- Administer medication, monitor health conditions, and implement care plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team committed to resident well-being.
- Support and educate individuals to promote independence and quality of life.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Pennsylvania LPN license.
- Prior experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and document accurately.
- Compassionate attitude and patience in providing personalized care.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in ICF or similar facility settings.
- CPR certification.
- Bilingual abilities to serve a diverse population.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Active Pennsylvania LPN license.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral or developmental care settings.
- Familiarity with disability care protocols and medication administration.
Other Requirements:
- Availability for scheduled shifts on evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Ability to work within 30 miles of the facility campus, with flexibility for multiple house pickups within walking distance.
- Willingness to participate in comprehensive orientation (minimum 5 days on the 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM shift) to ensure quality care delivery.
- Valid certification in CPR preferred; travel reimbursements and licensure costs covered when applicable.
