Required Skills:
- Valid state license as a Physical Therapist
- Proven experience in physical therapy, preferably in long-term care or rehabilitation settings
- Strong knowledge of standardized assessments, evidence-based interventions, and wound care
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Ability to develop, implement, and adjust personalized care plans
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience supervising PT assistants, aides, or students
- Knowledge of DME procurement and use of assistive devices
- Familiarity with electronic health record documentation systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Prior experience working in skilled nursing or LTC facilities is highly desirable
Other Requirements:
- Ability to obtain necessary certifications and supplies as per regulatory standards
- Willingness to adhere to professional ethics, APTA standards, and state practice acts
- Willingness to participate in facility meetings, trainings, and conferences
