Join Our Team as a Temp Occupational Therapist (OT) in Long-Term Care – Purcell, OK!

What You’ll Do:
- Conduct comprehensive screenings and evaluations of patients with cognitive and ADL physical functioning disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
- Deliver evidence-based, skilled rehabilitative treatments including ADL retraining, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and assistive device support.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatments, and evaluate outcomes to ensure effective care delivery.
- Provide expert consultation and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers.
- Document all services thoroughly in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, participate in care conferences, and support facility and company trainings.
- Supervise and support occupational therapy assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students as needed.
Required Skills:
- Valid OT license in Oklahoma and current NBCOT certification.
- Excellent clinical assessment and intervention skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to document accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and evidence-based practices in long-term care.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment.
- Bilingual abilities to assist diverse patient populations.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Prior experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting is preferred.
Other Requirements:
- Ability to travel to the Purcell, OK facility.
- Supervision experience or willingness to supervise team members.
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.
Compensation for this role is highly competitive, offering an hourly rate of $55.61.
