Required Skills:
- Valid state Occupational Therapist license and good standing
- Proven experience in a long-term care or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic exercises, activities, and treatment planning
- Excellent record-keeping and reporting skills
- Ability to supervise and collaborate with assistant and aide staff
- Proficient in designing and fabricating splints based on physician prescriptions
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques
- Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- At least 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience in LTC settings
Other Requirements:
- Must be available to work Day shifts on a scheduled basis
- Willingness to supervise staff and ensure compliance with all regulations
- Ability to travel within the facility as needed
- Licensure, certification, and travel reimbursements provided when applicable
