"Neonatology OpportunitySouthfield, Michigan A Level III NICU in Southfield, Michigan is seeking a fellowship-trained Neonatologist for locum night coverage due to the resignation of an existing provider. Compensation: $310/hr Position Details Specialty: Neonatology Practice Setting: Level III NICU Coverage Type: In-house night call Shift Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Start Date: ASAP Temporary privileges approved Coverage Dates June 17, 26, 27 July 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 23, 24, 26, 28, 31 August 2, 5, 7, 9, 11–28, 30 Clinical Responsibilities NICU coverage in a Level III setting Attendance at C-sections required Neonatal transfers required In-house overnight coverage Patient Volume & Facility Details 15-bed NICU Average daily census: 12 patients Average admissions per day: 0–4 Trauma Level III facility EMR Cerner / ECare / PowerChart Team Structure 3 full-time Neonatologists 2 part-time Neonatologists 4 contingent providers Requirements Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Neonatology Fellowship-trained in Neonatology required Active Michigan license required at time of presentation BLS, NRP, and ACLS required Must currently work or have worked within the last 6 months in a Level III or IV NICU Clean background required NPDB Self-Query report required within 30 days of presentation Provider must specify which open shifts they can cover at presentation Additional Information Estimated credentialing timeframe: 90–120 days Temporary privileges approved for urgent coverage needs Local providers preferred Mileage reimbursement only Facility does not reimburse: Background checks Application fees Credentialing fees"
