Position Overview

Locum tenens Emergency Medicine coverage (per Order notes)

Approximately 33,000 annual ED visits (per Order notes)

Coverage model notes 38 hours per day of physician coverage and 18 hours per day of NP or PA coverage (per Order notes)

Moderate to high acuity ED (per Order notes)

Required Qualifications

MD or DO (per Order notes)

Completed Emergency Medicine residency (per Order notes)

Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine through ABMS or AOA (per Order notes)

Active unrestricted Indiana medical license (per Order notes)

DEA with Indiana address and schedules noted in the Order. State controlled substance registration is also referenced (per Order notes)

Case logs for the past two years required (per Order notes)

Certifications

When board eligible in Emergency Medicine, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS are required (per Order notes)

When board certified in Emergency Medicine, maintain ACLS, BLS, and PALS and show proof of having ATLS at least once (per Order notes)

Credentialing and Onboarding

Immunization requirements including flu and TB are referenced in the Order notes

Moderate sedation is referenced as a facility procedure requirement (per Order notes)
