Description
- Work Dates Needed: Est start date: 08/03/2026, ongoing
- Schedule: Scheduled shifts. No call. Shift times: Days: 7A-7P. Nights: 7P-7A. PRN coverage.
- Worksite Setting: hospital-based OB Emergency Department (OB ED)
- Patient Volume: approx. 40-60 patients per day
- Beds: 12 bed OB ED
- Scope of Work: Evaluate pregnant patients and up to 6 weeks postpartum. OBG complaints. Manage ectopic pregnancies.
- License, Certification, Requirement:
- EMR: Epic.
- Coverage & Volume:
- 1 OB Physician onsite 24/7
- APP support (PA/NP/midwives): 12-18 hrs/day
- RN staffing: 2-3 nurses (triage + back unit)
- Sonographer: 18 hrs/day
- Tech: 12 hrs/day
- OB ED is supported by OB Hospitalist team
- During weekdays there are 2 in-house OBs + OB ED physician
- Nights/weekends, there is 1 OB Hospitalist + OB ED physician
- App see patients independently
- 2 provider coverage model in ED
- EM physicians available for backup if needed
- Pay Rate: $250
