Locum/Permanent MD/DO – Urgent Care Physician
Location: Fort Madison & Mount Pleasant, Iowa

Key Responsibilities:
Provide acute, walk-in care for patients with non-emergent medical issues
Diagnose and treat minor injuries, infections, and illnesses
Perform minor procedures such as suturing, splinting, and abscess drainage
Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed
Coordinate follow-up care or specialist referrals when appropriate

Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine
Experience in urgent care or emergency settings preferred
Eligible for Iowa medical licensure
Strong diagnostic and procedural skills
Open to both permanent and locum tenens availability
