Position Details

Duration: Ongoing

Schedule:
- Shifts available:
  - Weekdays: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, or 11:00 AM–7:00 PM
  - Weekends: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Rotation: 1 week on / 1 week off

Setting: Inpatient, no clinic responsibilities

Call Requirements:
- In-house, assisting with ED on-call coverage and surgical support
- Response time: 30 minutes

Responsibilities

Assist surgeons with emergency and urgent cases.

Support post-operative consultations as needed.

Be the first point of contact for urgent surgical cases, ensuring smooth workflows for the surgical team.

Requirements

Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.

Must be board-certified as a Physician Assistant in General Surgery.

License: Oregon licensure required.

Acute care surgery experience strongly preferred.

EMR System: Epic

No supervision of other advanced practice providers is required.

Temporary hospital privileges are not available.
