Job Title: PCU Registered Nurse
Job Description:
Join our team as a PCU Registered Nurse on the Night 3x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30). In this role, you will be responsible for starting and managing IVs, administering medications safely, monitoring vitals and patient responses, educating patients on treatments and self-care, and collaborating with the care team on patient plans. You will use EPIC EMR for charting and may float to lower acuity units as needed. The position requires adherence to hospital policies and a commitment to patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Start and manage IVs
- Administer medications safely
- Monitor vitals and patient responses
- Educate patients on treatments and self-care
- Collaborate with the care team on patient plans
- Use EPIC EMR for charting
- Float to lower acuity units as needed
- Follow hospital policies and maintain patient safety
Requirements:
- Active Ohio RN license
- 2+ years of clinical nursing experience
- BCLS and IV certification
- EPIC experience preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
- Travel experience a plus
Shift Details:
- Night shift, 3 days per week, 12 hours per shift (19:00 - 07:30)
Hourly Pay Rate: $59.18
