Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Registered Nurses to join our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient care during daytime shifts, providing safe and effective treatments, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Start and manage IVs
- Administer medications safely
- Monitor vitals and patient responses
- Educate patients on treatments and self-care
- Collaborate with the care team on patient plans
- Use EPIC EMR for charting
- Float to lower acuity units if needed
- Follow hospital policies and maintain patient safety
Requirements:
- Active Ohio RN license
- 2+ years of clinical nursing experience
- BCLS and IV certification
- EPIC experience preferred
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and multitasking skills
- Travel experience a plus
