Shift: Day Shift, 10 Hours

Job Description:
This role serves as a leader in providing patient care utilizing the nursing process within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The RN will effectively delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members, taking accountability for quality patient outcomes. The ideal candidate exhibits sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity, maintains engagement in activities aligned with unit and departmental goals, and demonstrates professional responsibility and accountability. The RN supports the company's nursing philosophy and upholds compliance standards.
Qualifications:
- Required: Registered Nurse diploma; 2+ years of experience; current RN license in practice state; BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing; certification in clinical specialty area.

Duties:
- Utilize the nursing process for patient care delivery

- Use data to evaluate outcomes and implement improvements
- Maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and institutional standards
- Uphold patient privacy and safety protocols
- Perform related duties to ensure optimal patient care and departmental functionality
Physical and Environmental Demands:
- Ability to exert weight as required, including heavy work exerting 50-100 pounds occasionally
- Exposure to blood, body fluids, tissues, and communicable diseases
- Work may involve standing, walking, and working in patient care areas with potential occupational exposure risks
