Job Title: RN - Beh Health
Shift: Day Shift 12 Hour
Hourly Pay Rate: $50.92
Job Description:
This role serves as a leader in providing patient care within the framework of the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code for Nurses, and Scope & Standards of Practice. The RN will effectively delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members, ensuring quality patient outcomes. The position requires sensitivity to cultural, ethnic, and religious diversity in all interactions. The nurse will participate in activities aligned with the unit and department’s strategic goals, demonstrating professional responsibility and accountability. The role supports the company's philosophy of nursing and emphasizes quality care, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Required: Registered nurse diploma
- Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
- Experience:
- Required: 2+ years of nursing experience
- Certifications:
- Required: Current RN license in state of practice
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association
- 12-month CPI certification from the Crisis Prevention Institute
- Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty area
- Skills and KSAs:
- Proficiency in computers, software, and web-based applications
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to present information clearly and professionally
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
Physical and Environmental Demands:
The role involves physical exertion, including moving objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally. The physical demands exceed sedentary work and reasonable accommodations can be provided for individuals with disabilities. Occupational exposure to hazardous medications or waste is possible, requiring adherence to safety protocols.
