Job Title: CVICU Registered Nurse
Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated CVICU Registered Nurses to join our team. The position involves working weekdays and some weekends, with rotating holidays. Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity levels. This is a night shift opportunity on a 12-hour shift schedule (19:00 - 07:30). The schedule includes up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week period: Saturday/Sunday for day shifts and Friday/Saturday for night shifts. Estimated patient ratios are 1:1-2.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of cardiac ICU experience preferred, with BLS and ACLS certification required. Essential skills include IV starts, telemetry, ventilators, Swanz-Ganz lines, conscious sedation, balloon pumps, and PA lines. Epic experience and previous travel experience are also preferred.
