Job Title: Physical Therapist (Outpatient – Locum Tenens)
Location: Covington, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 Weeks (June 23, 2025 – September 20, 2025)
Employment Type: Travel / Locum Tenens
Pay Range: $38-$48 per hour
Shift: 8-Hour Day Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week (with expectation to work up to 40 hours/week)Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist for a 13-week outpatient assignment in Covington, Georgia. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who thrive in orthopedic care environments and are seeking valuable experience in a supportive and collaborative outpatient setting. New graduates and first-time travelers are encouraged to apply! Key Responsibilities: Evaluate, plan, and provide physical therapy treatment to patients with orthopedic conditions
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
Maintain a productivity standard of 60 visits per week
Treat 12–14 patients per day with double-booked follow-up appointments as needed
Accurately document patient progress in accordance with clinical protocols
Collaborate with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes
Qualifications: Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Georgia (or ability to obtain)
Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
New graduates and first-time travelers welcome
Must commit to the full contract duration
Must be willing to float to nearby clinic locations if needed
Additional Details: No on-call or weekend shifts required
Overtime (OT) must be pre-approved by clinic director
OT rates apply after 24 daily or 40 weekly hours (based on multiplier)
