An education network in New York is currently seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join their growing team in Westchester County on a Part-time basis. In this role, the Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for helping students access the academic environment and participate to the maximum extent possible in educationally related activities.

• Schedule: Monday to Friday (3 days a week)
    
• Hours: 9am to 2:30pm
    
• Setting: Preschool
    
• Age Range: 3 to 21 years old (Developmentally / Intellectually Disabled)
  

Responsibilities:



The Physical Therapist (PT) will be responsible for:

  
• Providing screening, evaluation, and therapy services, as assigned
    
• Participating in interdisciplinary case conferences to determine diagnosis and developing appropriate treatment plans for children
    
• Providing consultation on issues involving effective motor development to teaching staff and other appropriate programmatic staff and programs
    
• Providing information to families regarding their child’s motor development and stimulation
    
• Maintaining and making all records and reports available required
    
• Performing other duties, as needed
  

Qualifications:

  
• 6+ months of Physical Therapy experience
    
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy school
    
• NYS Physical Therapist (PT) license
  

  
• Experience working with the Pediatric population
    
• Previous experience in a School setting
