What you will be doing: • Complete evaluation reports, strategy plans, progress notes, and correspondences needed to provide high quality services and meet state and company requirements • Create strategies based on family priorities that are measurable and meaningful • Effectively communicate test results, diagnosis, and proposed strategies that are functional for the child’s and family’s life and are approached in a primary service provider model • Collaborate with staff to implement IFSPs • Share knowledge and resources that enhance children’s developmental progress while providing consultation to Service Coordinators, contracted providers, and families to assist in meeting clients’ needs • Provide families and service providers information about proper techniques to assist with sensorimotor activities at home that supports the child and family’s participation • Is culturally responsive and competent in working with a diverse population and range of communication delays/disorders including Autism Spectrum Disorder What it means for you: • Opportunity to work with a nonprofit organization that serves children with developmental delays and disabilities, adults with cognitive and intellectual disabilities, and veterans in need of employment assistance or are homeless • Ability to use your knowledge or sensorimotor development in infants and young children; best practices for intervention and assessment of young children with autism; and principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of sensorimotor challenges • Utilized American Occupational Therapy Association standards of practice and early intervention systems What we offer: • Medical, dental, vision, and life and disability insurance • Mileage reimbursement • PTO and paid holidays • Tuition reimbursement If you are a passionate and dependable self-starter desiring a fulfilling career move, apply today! What you need: • Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy • 2+ years of experience with infants, toddlers, and young children • Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the state of Colorado • Current NBCOT certification
