We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a locum tenens Hospitalist position near Altus, OK. This is an excellent opportunity for an advanced practice provider who is board-certified and licensed in Oklahoma to provide inpatient care in a supportive and well-equipped environment. The position is available immediately and will continue on an ongoing basis.

Job Responsibilities:

  • 20-25 patient encounters per day (10-12 for the APP)
  
  
  • 5-6 admissions per day
  
  
  
  


• Procedures:
  
  
  
  • Intubations: CRNAs on-call 24/7
  
  
  • Lines: PICC team on-call 24/7 for CVCs; IR available on Tuesdays and Thursdays
  
  
  • Codes: Managed by the ED with Hospitalist support when on-site
  
  
  
  


• ICU Details:
  
  
  
  • 8-bed open ICU
  
  
  • Tele-pulmonary service available 24/7 via video visits
  
  
  
  

Candidate Requirements:

  • Temporary privileges are available for candidates with a clean file for quick credentialing
