We are seeking two experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) specializing in Hematology Oncology for a locum tenens opportunity near GALVIN, WA. This position requires a combination of inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth services.

Position Overview This locum tenens role involves providing comprehensive care to patients with hematological and oncological conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both inpatient and outpatient settings, demonstrating proficiency in managing a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care, including chemotherapy administration, patient education, and supportive care.


• Manage a patient panel of approximately 12 patients per day, encompassing a variety of hematological and oncological conditions.


• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.


• Participate in on-call responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

• Board certification as an ARNP or PA with a specialization in Hematology Oncology.


• Strong clinical skills and experience in managing hematological and oncological patients.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Details

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, flexible to 4 x 10-hour days or 5 x 8-hour days, with on-call responsibilities.


• Setting: Inpatient, outpatient, and telehealth.


• Patient Volume: Approximately 12 patients per day.


• EMR System: Epic/Beacon (all chemotherapy ordered through treatment plans).


• Duration: Ongoing.
