Locum Tenens Opportunity: Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Near CLEVELAND, NM Specialty: Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) Department: Anesthesiology Start Date: 07-01-2024 End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Plus Call Job Details Providers Requested: 1 CRNA EMR System: MEDHOST Practice Setting: Inpatient Description/Other Details Coverage Start Date: July ongoing Practice Volume: Small and fairly low volume License Requirement: Must be licensed in NM Experience Requirement: Minimum 5 years of experience Work Environment: Independent, non-supervised environment Anesthesia Techniques: Competent in all anesthesia techniques; regional block competency a plus Types of Surgeries: Ortho, podiatry, ENT (with pediatrics), General Surgery, Urology, GI endoscopy, OB/GYN (including epidurals/spinals), placement of regional blocks Patient Population: Primarily adults, with pediatric cases limited to ENT (tubes and tonsils) Skills Required: Advanced line placement and ventilator management in the OR/PACU Schedule Details Schedule Type: Hospital OR setting Rotation Schedule: 2 weeks working (days) with 7 days of call (including a weekend) during the 2 weeks Full-Time Schedule: Consists of repeating 4-week blocks: Week 1: Elective surgeries Mon-Friday with at-home call M/W/F/S/S Week 2: Elective surgeries Mon-Friday with at-home call T/TH Weekend OFF Week 3: Endoscopy Center Mon-Friday, NO CALL, Weekend OFF Week 4: OFF, Weekend OFF Repeat Part-Time Schedule: Consists of Week 1 & 2 schedule with the next 2 weeks OFF Requirements Board Certification: Certified State License: NM only Certifications Required: None specified (BLS, ACLS, PALS not mentioned but may be required) Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days WITH SC LICENSE, minimum 120 days without SC license This locum tenens opportunity offers a unique schedule structure and the chance to work in a diverse clinical environment.
