Overview

We are currently seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team in ALABAMA. This locum tenens position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive care to pediatric patients in a hospital setting. Ideal candidates will be board-certified with previous experience in pediatric hospital medicine.

Job Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Hospitalist, your responsibilities will include:

Providing patient care on the nursery and pediatric floors

Conducting routine and emergency procedures as required

Serving as the primary physician on duty, with one physician on at a time

Documenting patient encounters accurately using the EMR systems Medimobile and Cerner

Collaborating with medical students and occasionally family medicine residents

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following qualifications:

Board Certification in Pediatrics - REQUIRED

Experience as a Pediatrician in a hospital setting - REQUIRED

Active Alabama License and DEA - REQUIRED

Clean Background - REQUIRED

Certifications: BLS, NRP, PALS - REQUIRED

Compact License accepted
