• 24-hour in-house call, 7:00 am - 7:00 am

Overview:

We are seeking a Gastroenterologist for an inpatient locum to perm opportunity starting from June onwards. The position requires 24-hour call coverage with hospital-based responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide 24-hour call coverage, from 7:00 am to 7:00 am


• Perform ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography); EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasound) highly preferred


• Conduct 3-4 outpatient procedures per day, inpatient procedures, and consultations


• Patient demographic: Adult only

Additional Details:

• EMR: Cerner


• Locum to Perm: Candidate must be interested in transitioning to a permanent position.


• Board Certification: Required, or truly Board Eligible within 3 years of Residency


• License: Active Iowa License or IMLC required


• BLS Certification: Required


• Inpatient Work: Provider must be willing and able to work inpatient cases


• ERCP Certification: Required


• EUS Experience: Highly preferred
