Department Description: Join our team specializing in medical direction and general anesthesia cases. Candidates must be comfortable with pediatric patients.
- Hospital Bed Size: Our facility boasts a bed capacity of 283, ensuring comprehensive care for our community.
- Special Procedures: While we do not perform heart, neuro, or obstetric procedures, candidates with proficiency in "bread and butter" anesthesia techniques are encouraged to apply.

Practice Setting: This position is based in a hospital setting, providing opportunities for collaborative care and professional growth.

Requirements:

Board Certification: Board certification in Anesthesiology is required.

State License Required: Candidates must hold an active South Carolina medical license.

Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are mandatory to ensure readiness for emergency situations.

Minimum Experience Required: Candidates should possess a minimum of 2 years of experience practicing medicine, demonstrating proficiency and competence in their field.

Clean Malpractice History: A clean malpractice history is essential for consideration.

Credentialing Timeframe: With an active SC license, the credentialing process typically takes 60-90 days. For candidates without an active SC license, a minimum of 120 days is required.

SC License Preferred: While not mandatory, possession of a South Carolina medical license is preferred to expedite the credentialing process.
