Job Details

Reason for Coverage: Existing independent group leaving the hospital

Practice Setting: Hospital house doc day shift and hospital house doc night shift (12-hour shifts)

No practice scheduled patients

Other OB/GYNs not onsite during locum coverage

Labs & Ultrasound onsite

Level I Nursery

EMR: Epic

Required Duties & Procedures

Low-Risk Pregnancy: History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.

OB Ultrasounds: Performance of Level I/Screening (Viability)

Amniocentesis

Routine Delivery: Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section

Complicated Delivery: C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.

VBAC’s (Vaginal Birth After C-Section)

Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations

Surgical Gynecology – Open

Operative/Major Procedures: Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOA’s

Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Procedures: Tubal Ligation, LOA’s, Chromal Tubation

Schedule

12-hour shifts: Weekdays and Weekends

Travel Reimbursement Information

Local Providers Only: Mileage Reimbursement

Submission Requirements

Board Certified: REQUIRED

Active OH License: REQUIRED, please do not submit providers needing to obtain a license

ACLS Certified: REQUIRED

Flu Vaccine: REQUIRED at the time of credentialing

COVID Vaccine: Preferred

100% Clean Background: REQUIRED
