Position Details:
- Schedule Overview: This position involves covering 5 days per week, Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with additional hours as needed.
- Patient Population: The Neonatal Nurse Practitioner will care for full-term and late preterm infants in the newborn nursery.
- Delivery Coverage: Responsibilities include attending deliveries for high-risk Vaginal Deliveries and C-sections.
- Resuscitation: Conducting neonatal resuscitation when required.
- Procedures: Performing necessary procedures such as central line placement, intubation, chest tube insertion, and exchange transfusion.
- Daily Rounds: Participating in daily rounds in the NICU.
- Admissions and Discharges: Managing admissions and discharges in both the NICU and Newborn Nursery.
- Collaborative Environment: Collaborating with neonatologists who provide 24/7 in-house NICU coverage.
