Description
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (NP/PA) for a locum tenens Emergency Medicine assignment in Seattle, WA. This is an on-site opportunity supporting a busy Emergency Department with mostly medical cases, low trauma, and medium-to-high acuity. Ideal candidates are comfortable working independently, partnering closely with attending physicians, and providing efficient evaluation, treatment, and disposition of ED patients.
Skills
• Provide high-quality emergency medical care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and disposition
• Manage a broad spectrum of ED presentations and acuity levels
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to support safe, timely care
• Perform clear handoffs and communicate effectively with consultants, hospitalists, and care teams
• Support quality and safety initiatives as needed
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EMRRequirements:
• Active Washington (WA) license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Medicine experience (required)
• Board Certified / Board Eligible (required per client requirements)
• Required certifications (current): ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA, NRP
•Clean background/malpractice history (required)
• Must be willing to work weekends and holidays
• Dealbreakers: any license actions; <2 years EM experience
