Location Leesburg, Summerfield, The Villages & Mount Dora Florida, United StatesNeed 1 RN with endocrinology experience & 1 RN experience with infusion centers JOB DUTIES: • Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports. • Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions. • Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments. • Recording patient vital signs and medical information. • Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests. • Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions. • Administering non-intravenous medications. • Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with the healthcare team members. • Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses. • Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice • Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians • Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients • Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts • Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders • Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds, etc.) • Provide instant medical care in emergencies • Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families • Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc. ? Required Knowledge - Skills and Abilities • Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff. • Basic computer skills. • Professional, friendly attitude. • Proven experience as a registered nurse • Excellent knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures • In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all times • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Responsible and compassionate • Patient with excellent problem-solving skills ? • Must be willing to work occasional overtime • Must be willing to work occasional weekends • Must be willing to help out occasionally in other locations ?
