Full-time Surgical Services Manager needed at a top facility in West Virginia!

Hours are 8am-4:30pm

POSITION SUMMARY:  Responsible and accountable for promoting and maintaining quality patient care and the effective management and utilization of resources (staff and supplies) on the above listed patient care unit/area. Supervises professional and ancillary staff. Supervision of staff may include: CC, RN, LPN, NT, US, PCT, HH and others.

QUALIFICATIONS: Current West Virginia licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse (R.N.). Bachelor’s Degree preferred. A minimum of three to four years of current nursing experience that has included various patient populations; previous experience as charge nurse; nurse manager or supervisor. Documented leadership abilities and skills related to: decision making, judgment, problem solving, effective interpersonal relations and effective communications, both written and verbal. Advanced education and certification in designated area of service as noted by floor or dept. assigned.

* Case Volume is 3,500-4,000
* Need good conflict resolution experience & interpersonal, team development skills
* Real focus of this position should be on team work
* Ideal candidate BSN, 3-5 years of management experience
