Full-time Senior Nurse Director for Cancer Services needed at a top hospital!

Currently seeking a candidate who has management experience specific to Cancer.  

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for overall growth and performance of Cancer Services throughout the health care system.  The Director will work closely with physicians and other cancer care professionals to enhance service delivery to patients in the continuum of care that aligns with the mission and vision of the health system.  The Director is responsible to oversee the development, growth and integration of services that bring the various multidisciplinary specialties and departments into an effective operational and care continuum that matches the episode of care experienced by the patient.  The Director will develop related programs and formal affiliations that keep Cancer Services positioned in the forefront of care delivery in a financially responsible manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Current license to practice Registered Professional Nursing
* Bachelor of Science degree required, Master’s degree preferred
* Advanced education and certification in designated area of specialty preferred
* A minimum of 5 years management experience preferred. Preferably in an ACOS approved cancer program.
