Modern Support Services is a human services agency providing home- and community-based services to adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) for over twenty-five (25) years. We are excited to announce and expand our services to include: mental healthcare and psychotherapy.Our mission is to deliver person-centered mental health services that promote psychological wellness, healing, and growth. We are seeking California licensed psychotherapists (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or Psy.D.) to fulfill full-time, on-site (in-person), hybrid, and remote positions based in our Greater Los Angeles service area. Candidates must maintain active California licensure and have a minimum of two years in practice (post-licensure). Candidates must be open to working with adults, children, adolescents, families, couples, and the I/DD community. Workplace Environment: -Initial and ongoing training, development, and consultation -Emphasis on team collaboration, support, and partnership -Weekly check-ins and 1:1 meetings with leadership team -Ongoing opportunities for professional development (e.g. workshops, certifications, CEUs, etc.) -Regular team-building activities and fostering an environment of connectedness amongst the team -Promote an environment that is mindful, compassionate, and considerate of agency personnel and dynamics
Skills
Qualifications: -Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or Related fields -Active California licensure (LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC) -Minimum of two (2) years experience in practice (post-licensure) -Experience working with diverse communities and needsResponsibilities: -Ensure compliance with federal and state government regulations - to sustain ethical and legal practice with respect to all facets of your work as a clinician in mental healthcare. -Clinicians are expected to maintain current client records and progress notes upon completion of each session. -Clinicians are expected to maintain a caseload of 25-30 clients per week. -Clinicians must be willing to work collaboratively in identifying and generating new referral sources. -Clinicians are required to attend mandatory development workshops/trainings and weekly status meetings - as part of their ongoing professional development. -Clinicians are expected to maintain active California licensure - per California BBS requirements and regulations.
