The Opportunity


As a valued member of the primary care team, you will provide comprehensive outpatient care to patients of all ages while working collaboratively with experienced physicians, nursing staff, and support personnel.


Responsibilities include:


• Performing comprehensive patient evaluations and physical examinations


• Obtaining and documenting detailed medical histories


• Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic health conditions


• Ordering, interpreting, and communicating laboratory and diagnostic results


• Developing treatment plans and coordinating continuity of care


• Providing preventive health services and wellness education


• Prescribing medications and administering treatments as appropriate


• Performing routine procedures including injections, suturing, and immunizations


• Educating patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and preventive care


• Participating in quality improvement initiatives and provider collaboration activities


• Supporting community health initiatives and patient advocacy




Qualifications


Nurse Practitioner


• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current or eligible Maine licensure


Physician Assistant


• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current or eligible Maine licensure


Preferred Qualifications


• Primary care experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with physicians and staff
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, culturally sensitive care
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
