Description
We’re seeking a Board Certified Neurologist (MD) for a locum tenens assignment providing a mix of inpatient and outpatient neurology coverage in Longview, Washington. This role supports an established neurology service and includes clinic, hospital consults/rounding, diagnostic procedures (EEG/EMG), and beeper call.

Job Responsibilities:
• Provide outpatient neurology evaluations and follow-up visits in clinic.
• Perform inpatient neurology consults, including on-site consults as needed.
• Manage hospital admissions and daily rounding responsibilities.
• Perform and interpret EEGs.
• Perform EMG procedures.
• Provide 24-hour unrestricted beeper call coverage during scheduled coverage week.
• Document all care clearly and timely in Epic.
• Collaborate with the on-site care team to ensure smooth transitions between inpatient and outpatient settings.Requirements:
• MD/DO with Board Certification in Neurology (required)
• Active Washington medical license (required at time of presentation)
• BLS and ACLS (required)
• DEA registration (required)
• Minimum 2 years neurology experience (required)
• EEG and EMG experience (required)
• Demonstrated recent clinical activity: At least 100 neurology cases within the last 24 months (required)
• Comfortable managing both inpatient and outpatient neurology care for age 17+
• Epic EMR experience strongly preferred/expected
