Responsibilities:

  • Shift Length: 12-hour shifts
  
  
  • Coverage: 24-hour physician coverage with 18-hour Advanced Practice Provider (APP) coverage
  
  
  
  


• Patient Volume: Approximately 25,000 annual visits


• Emergency Department Features:
  
  
  
  • Level III Trauma Center
  
  
  • Accredited chest pain center
  
  
  • Certified Primary Stroke Center
  
  
  • State-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic services
  
  
  • Specialty rooms for gynecology, ENT, cardiac, and trauma care
  
  
  • Pediatric acute care services, including Asthma P.A.C.T. program
  
  
  • CEN-certified nurses
  
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Board Certification:
  
  
  
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (BCEM)
  
  
  • Alternatively, Board Certified in Family Medicine (BCFM) or Internal Medicine (BCIM) with 2+ years of Emergency Medicine experience
  
  
  
  


• Certifications Required:
  
  
  
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  
  
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

  • Recent Emergency Department experience required
