This high-acuity hospital role offers flexible shifts, a supervision model, and a broad range of adult and pediatric cases. Job Details: Location: Southeast Virginia Publish Date: 11/06/2025 Status: Active Specialty: Anesthesiology Position Type: Locum tenens Certification Requirements: BC'd or BE ONLY License Requirements: Virginia license required Work Setting: Hospital surgical unit Schedule: 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts Call: Weeknight and/or weekend call required Support Staff: Supervision model with 2–3 CRNAs per anesthesiologist Clinical Responsibilities: Adults, healthy pediatrics, OB Spinals, regionals, orthopedics Neuro (heads and spine), vascular Vent management, arterial and central lines
Experience Requirements: Must be comfortable with full case mix; MDs place spinals or epidurals EMR: EPIC Dates: January 1 – May 31, 2026
