Description
We are actively seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician Assistant for a 180-day assignment with our client in Maine, commencing Jul 6, 2026. This role involves managing adult inpatient cases at both a trauma center and a critical care access hospital, encompassing responsibilities for patient admissions, discharges, and non-invasive vent management during 7a-7p shifts. You will contribute to a team managing an average of 15 patients.
Responsibilities and Duties - Manage adult inpatient cases at a trauma center, including patients with CT surgery and oncology needs.
- Provide care for adult inpatients at a critical care access hospital.
- Perform non-invasive vent management.
- Handle an average of 15 patients, including ICU beds.
- Oversee 2–4 admissions and 2–4 discharges per day.
- Work 7a-7p shifts.
Additional Information - Candidates must be board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- The facility utilizes Epic EMR.
