Description
We are seeking a Geriatric Physician for a 120-day assignment in Florida, commencing Jun 15, 2026. This role involves comprehensive patient care, precise coding and charting, and utilizing your tech-savvy skills to manage a diverse patient panel. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a primary focus on preventative medicine and keeping patients out of the hospital.
Responsibilities and Duties - Provide comprehensive care for patients, dedicating appropriate time to each individual.
- Ensure accurate coding and charting for all patient encounters.
- Demonstrate proficiency with technology and maintain excellent organizational skills.
- Apply expertise in geriatrics and preventative medicine.
- Manage a diverse patient panel with the primary objective of keeping patients out of the hospital.
- Handle standard geriatric cases, which are typically broken down into high risk (15-20%), emerging risk (10-20%), and low risk (70-80%) categories.
