Description
We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 91-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Sep 1, 2026. This role involves varied 12-hour shifts with both in-house and beeper call, focusing on comprehensive obstetrics and gynecology procedures, including managing low and high-risk pregnancies, performing various types of deliveries, and undertaking surgical interventions like open and laparoscopic procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties - Perform required Obstetrics Procedures including Low Risk Pregnancy management (e.g., History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis)
- Manage High Risk Pregnancy cases (e.g., with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease)
- Execute Labor and Delivery Required Procedures: Routine Delivery – Vaginal, Low Forceps
- Make critical decisions for C-Section procedures
- Handle Complicated Delivery scenarios: C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions
- Perform VBACs (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean)
- Repair 3rd and 4th Degree Lacerations
- Conduct Surgical Gynecology – Open procedures
- Perform Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor Only procedures such as Tubal Ligation, LOAs, Chromal Tubation
- Execute Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) gynecological procedures, including Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, and Extensive LOAs
