Description
We are actively seeking a board-certified Pathologist for a 100-day locum tenens assignment in Missouri, beginning Jul 20, 2026. This role involves working consistent 8-hour shifts, where the Physician will primarily handle a variety of cases, including breast, colon, prostate, and lung resections. Key responsibilities also encompass performing frozen sections every other day, conducting Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA), and providing minimal grossing support as needed.
Responsibilities and Duties - Perform analysis of breast, colon, prostate, and lung resection specimens.
- Conduct frozen sections every other day and Fine Needle Aspiration (FNA).
- Undertake minimal grossing duties when Physician Assistant is unavailable.
- Handle non-GYN cytology and rapid onsite evaluations.
- Please note: No GYN Oncology, Head and Neck Surgery specimens, or large GI resections are included in this role.
Additional Information - Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology & Clinical Pathology or Clinical Pathology/Laboratory Medicine is required.
