Physical Therapist - Outpatient - (PT)

Pay Rate: $2578.00 - $2656.00
This is a 26-week outpatient Physical Therapist assignment in a community clinic in Wasilla, Alaska, offering a full-time schedule of 5 eight-hour day shifts (40 hours per week). On-call needs are to be determined, allowing primary focus on consistent daytime outpatient care.
Wasilla provides a unique blend of small-city convenience and incredible Alaskan scenery. You are surrounded by mountains, lakes, and trails, with easy access to hiking, fishing, boating, and winter sports. The community has a welcoming, family-friendly feel, and you are less than an hour’s drive from Anchorage for additional dining, entertainment, shopping, and travel options.
In this outpatient setting, you can expect a varied caseload that may include orthopedic, post-surgical, musculoskeletal, and functional mobility patients. A typical day includes performing evaluations, designing and progressing individualized treatment plans, providing hands-on interventions and therapeutic exercise, educating patients and families, and documenting care in the clinic’s EMR system. Patient volumes are structured to support focused, one-on-one care and steady workflow throughout the day.
You will be working with a collaborative clinical team that values evidence-based practice, clear communication, and a supportive work culture.
