A healthcare system is seeking a Board Certified Hospitalist for an ongoing inpatient coverage need beginning July 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for physicians seeking a consistent locum assignment with block scheduling and long-term coverage potential.

Compensation:

Hourly: $200/hr
Holiday Hourly: $300/hr
Overtime: $300/hr
Holiday Overtime: $455/hr

Schedule Requirements

Providers must be able to commit to:

Two weeks per month (14 shifts) on an ongoing basis
Flexible scheduling beginning in July and continuing thereafter
Current Day Shift Needs (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
July 3–5
July 7–10
July 21–23
July 27–31
July 28 – August 3
Clinical Responsibilities
Manage hospitalized adult patients
Perform daily rounding and admissions
Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary staff
Complete documentation within the EMR system
Participate in multidisciplinary patient management
Practice Environment
Hospital-based inpatient medicine
Collaborative care team
Established hospital medicine program
Ongoing coverage need with potential for long-term engagement
Requirements
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with Hospitalist experience
Active state license or active IMLC eligibility
Ability to provide ongoing coverage of at least two weeks per month
Proof of COVID vaccination required
Clean background and malpractice history required
Current NPDB report required at presentation
Credentialing Documents Required Upon Acceptance
