Position Overview

Locum tenens anesthesiology coverage in a hospital setting with broad case mix (per Order notes)

Level 1 trauma and level 1 pediatric trauma coverage environment (per Order notes)

Care team model with both supervisory and solo MD cases (per Order notes)

EMR: Cerner (per Order notes)

Schedule and Call

Day blocks (Mon to Fri): 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, and 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM (per Order notes)

Weekend blocks: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM (per Order notes)

Call blocks: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (weeknights and weekends) (per Order notes)

12 hour call opportunities are noted; coverage including call is prioritized (per Order notes)

Clinical Scope

Case mix includes bariatric, ENT, IR, GYN, podiatry, spine, urology, endoscopy, OMFS, dental, plastics, and additional high acuity service lines as noted (per Order notes)

Pediatric comfort is strongly preferred and is required for weekend and call coverage (per Order notes)

OB experience is helpful (per Order notes)

Required Qualifications

MD or DO, Anesthesiology (per Order notes)

Active Florida license required (per Order notes)

DEA required (per Order notes)

Certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), PALS, TB test (per Order notes)

Board certified, or board eligible within 5 years (per Order notes)

Case logs: 24 months required for credentialing (per Order notes)

Radius restriction: candidate must live more than 60 minutes from site (per Order notes)
