Our client in Maine is seeking a skilled Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for a 180-day assignment starting Jul 6, 2026. This role involves managing adult inpatient cases, including those at a trauma center and a critical care access hospital, with typical shifts from 7a-7p. Responsibilities include overseeing an average of 15 patients daily, managing admissions, and facilitating discharges.
Responsibilities and Duties - Manage an average of 15 adult inpatient patients daily
- Oversee admissions and discharges, typically 2–4 of each per day
- Provide care in a trauma center with CT Surgery and oncology
- Provide care in a critical care access hospital
- Perform non-invasive vent management
- Work 7a-7p shifts
Additional Information - Candidates must be Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Experience with Epic EMR is required
