Description
A medical center in southern New York has an opening for an experienced Endocrinologist to join their dynamic team. This position offers a blend of outpatient and inpatient care with a focus on delivering high-quality, comprehensive care for a variety of endocrine disorders, hormonal imbalances, thyroid conditions, and diabetes management.
Position Overview: - Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM
- On-Call: Call required
- Practice Setting: 70% outpatient clinic, 30% inpatient care
- Team Composition: 30 MDs, 1 RN, 1 LPN, and MAs
Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine disorders, including but not limited to diabetes, thyroid conditions, and other hormonal imbalances.
- Work collaboratively within a multispecialty team to deliver patient-centered care.
- Engage in both outpatient clinical practice and inpatient consults and care as needed.
- Maintain a high standard of medical proficiency and ethical practice.
Qualifications: - Certification: Must be board-certified or board-eligible
- Experience: At least 1 year of post-fellowship experience required; no new graduates.
- Language: Proficiency in medical Spanish is required
