JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: MN license highly preferred; Universal License (IMLC) required
  
• Board: Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  
• Certifications: BLS
  
• Experience: Trauma Level I or II experience required
  
• Other Qualifications: Open to generalists with interest in high-risk obstetrics; no resident supervision
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide OB hospitalist coverage for high-risk pregnancies and MFM service patients
  
• Assist other OB providers with cesarean sections and obstetrical procedures
  
• Respond to urgent OB needs and emergencies on the labor and delivery unit
  
• Cover undoctored/unassigned OB patients at Abbott Northwestern and other facilities as needed
  
• Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine specialists and CNMs for comprehensive care
