Description
Our client in New Mexico is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 90-day assignment starting Jul 13, 2026. This role involves clinic duties on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8a-5p, with dedicated OR days on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The schedule also includes light-volume, 24-hour out-of-house call, focusing on women's wellness, deliveries, and various gynecological surgeries.
Responsibilities and Duties - Clinic on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (8a - 5p)
- Dedicated OR days on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- 24-hour out-of-house call, with an average of 5-10 deliveries per month
- Perform women's wellness visits, annual paps, IUD insertions and removals, Nexplanon, contraception, irregular bleeding, and postpartum care
- Conduct ultrasounds
- Handle low-volume OB cases, including vaginal deliveries and C-sections
Additional Information - Board Certification in Family Medicine Obstetrics or Obstetrics and Gynecology required
- EMR: Cerner
- Must be comfortable with GYN elective surgeries including Colplasty, Coloplasty, Tuboplasty, and Uterosacral procedures
- Experience and comfortability with high-risk OB patients is important
