• Weekday and weekend coverage available

Requirements

• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) only


• Board Certified


• Active Arkansas license required at submission


• Active DEA required


• Level III NICU experience required


• Experience managing critically ill neonates required


• Comfortable attending deliveries and neonatal transports

Required Certifications

• NRP


• PALS


• Certifications must be through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Clinical Responsibilities

• NICU rounding and patient management


• Care of critically ill neonates


• Attendance at high-risk deliveries


• Neonatal transport participation


• Newborn nursery coverage


• Critical care procedures


• Management of assigned patient panels

• Level III NICU


• 26-bed unit


• Average daily census: 10–15 patients


• Average NICU patients per shift: 7–10
