- Patient Types: Critically ill medical, surgical, cardiac, and neuro patients (e.g., STEMI, respiratory distress, stroke, post-surgical)
Pay & Benefits
- Pay Rate: $52.26/hour
- Pay Package includes: Weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements

What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill ICU patients
- Manage art lines, central lines, EVD drains, chest tubes
- Pass EKG competency exams and perform advanced patient monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including charge nurses, RTs, phlebotomists, and hospitalist staff
- Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech Expanse EMR
- Float responsibly to other units such as MedSurg with patient ratios up to 1:6 when needed
- Follow all safety protocols with PPE and adhere to hospital policies
What You Need
Required:
- Current RN license in Louisiana
- BLS, ACLS, NIH certifications
- Minimum 1 year ICU experience (or 2 years for first-time travelers)
- Ability to pass an EKG competency exam
- Willingness to float and work flexible shifts
Preferred:
- Previous experience managing complex ICU patients
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
