Pay & Benefits:

What You'll Do:
- Provide routine and complex care for high-acuity patients post-cardiothoracic surgery
- Manage patients with multiple comorbidities, drips, and life-support devices such as Impella, Balloon Pump, Artic Sun, and CRRT
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care plans accurately
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols and monitor for side effects
- Assess patient and family education needs; deliver appropriate information and support
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain competency and adherence to all hospital policies and standards
What You Need:
- Required:
- RN License in Texas or Compact State
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Preferred:
- 1+ year of critical care experience, especially in post-cardiothoracic units
- Familiarity with Epic EMR system
- Experience with high-acuity patient management and specialist equipment
